Harworth Estates, in partnership with housebuilders, manufacturers and developers, is developing a vibrant new setting in which to live, grow and do business.
The 740 acre development will offer homes, businesses, and recreation facilities. The Advanced Manufacturing Park has already attracted leading international companies such as Rolls Royce and Boeing and almost 4,000 homes are due to be built at Waverley in the coming years.
The development will also have a wide range of shops, cafes, health, leisure and educational facilities. Over 200 acres of the site will be public spaces such as play areas, woodlands and two large lakes set in parkland.
Waverley has all the advantages of modern living, combining leading-edge employment with exemplary residential design, bringing together the best of the urban and rural realms.
Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP)
The development of the AMP is on-going, but already it is home to a wealth of world-leading hi-tech materials manufacturers. Rolls Royce, Boeing, the University of Sheffield and Dormer are just some of the companies located here. Land is now available for the development of various sizes of accommodation, with flexible terms available to suit occupier needs.
Taylor Wimpey, Barratt Homes and Harron Homes began residential development at Waverley in Spring 2012. Construction has progressed swiftly and the first phase will deliver a total of 490 new homes. Waverley welcomed its first residents to their new houses in December 2012.
Waverley sits in the heart of the Sheffield City Region, with excellent road links across Yorkshire and into Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The development occupies a prominent position just a few minutes from J33 of the M1 motorway.
